| Dumsor Time Table will Soon Be Released - GRIDCo Hints |
Ghana is likely to experience another load shedding schedule soon on our electricity usage as it happened some seven years down the line.
A hinted by the Communications Manager of the Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCo), Mr Ebenezer Amankwah, in an interview with Radio Ghana monitored by Phelad Media Gh last Monday evening, he explained that some part of the country will soon experience intermittent power outages to [enable engineers and contractors work on some selected substation plants across the country.
He added that GRIDCo has communicated with the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) to provide a load shedding schedule following a major planned maintenance in the power sector from April to July 2021 adding that the time table for the said load shedding schedule will soon come out as ECG will soon finish preparing it.
He however cleared the air that, with the exception of the affected maintenance areas, not the entire country will totally be affected with this new development.
