27-Year-Old Female Teacher Hangs Herself In Assin Fosu

This particular week seems to appear unfavorable and tragic to the education fraternity in Ghana as two successive pieces of information about two female personalities from the education sector announce nothing but their deaths.

 

It was initially about a 17-year-old JHS3 student of Miracle Senior High School in Sunyani, who was reported dead by hanging herself at the school’s dining hall in the early hours of Tuesday.

 

Information just in says that, aa 27-year-old trained teacher by name Catherine Ansah has also hang herself in her room using a sponge in Assin Fosu, a town in the central region of Ghana. The sad incidence happened in the late morning of Wednesday.

 

Catherine committed suicide in her residence close to the Latter Day Saints church in Assin Fosu. According to her close neighbors, she never showed any signs of worry in her later living days which could possibly prompt anyone to question her about her worries.

 

Currently, the remains of the young trained female teacher has been taken to the St Francis Hospital’s mortuary by the Assin Fosu police for postmortem.
