A 16-year-old Zambian boy, has now entered the Guinness Book of Records as the youngest ever professional referee in the history of football.

The 16-year-young man known as Rapheal Mbotela performed the unprecedented at Zambia and in a match which even more experienced referees would not want to officiate.

The much anticipated match was between the top two giants in Zambian football, ZESCO United and Forest Rangers Thursday evening.

The young record holder stood firm on his feet and with all courage steered the affairs of the tensioned match to a very commendable end.
