| Man Butchers A 14-Year-Old Son Over Failure to Prepare Supper |
Kwame Kali, a 45-year-old inhabitant of Atonsu Junction in the Ashanti region, has been busted by the Konongo Police for inflicting cutlass wounds on his own 14-year-old son. Mr Kali, according to report, had slashed his son's face with a cutlass for failing to prepare supper for their family.
Report says, Mr Kali8 had ordered his 14-year-old son to prepare supper for the family while he (Kali) goes out in the mourning to trade in his small business, only to return home in the evening to be welcomed with an excuse that the victim had been served dinner by some loving neighbours hence his failure to prepare the food.
Already angered by his rumbling stomach and now to hear this excuse from his son, Mr Kali was said to have pounced on the victim and slashed his face with a cutlass.
According to some neighbours, the 14-year-old victim was the usual chef for the family of three.
As at now, the victim is receiving treatment at the Konfo Anokye Teaching Hospital at Kumasi while the suspect is being detained at the Konongo Police Station assisting in further investigation.
