Latest On Mankessim Chief's Arrest In Connection To Burrying Nurse


Ghanaians are left confused and in suspense in relation to the status of Nana Clarke, the Mankessem Chief in connection with the recent circulating allegation on a murdered nursing trainee.


In the early hours of today, the various social media was flooded with yet another upbring the Nana Clarke had died in police custody after his arrest.



This made netizens take to their various handles to make comments and shared views on the hot cake then.


However, the police have just a moment ago denied claims that the Tufuhen of Ekumfi Akwakrom, Christopher Ekow Clarke, popularly known as Nana Clark, has died.


Earlier reports on Saturday, September 24 suggested that Nana Clarke had drunk poison to kill himself for the embarassment the crime had caused him and the people of Ekumfi Akwakrom.


“The report circulating in the media that the chief arrested in connection with the murder of a prospective student-nurse at Mankessim has died is false,” the police said.


This comes after the body of a final year nursing student by name Georgina Asor Botchwey was found buried in the room of a chief in Mankessim. According to reports, the chief was aided by a pastor to commit such crime. They are currently in the custody of the police assisting investigations.
