This week seems to be very black in the history Ghana
as series of suicide by hanging keep popping up day after day from places across
the country.
The trending one today Saturday 22nnd may, 2021 has to
do with a 9-yeaar-old boy who has hanged himself to death at Afful Nkwanta in the
Ashanti region.
The young boy identified as Christian Bobie was said
to have committed suicide in his quest to rehearsing a video shown on television
involving the dead of Leticia Pinaman, the young SHS girl who allegedly hanged
herself in Sunyani few days ago.
For the records, this adds up to four suicide cases within
this particular week. It was initially Leticia at Sunyani, followed by a female
teacher in Assin Fosu, then the 11-yeear-old Isaac from Dambai and now a
9-yeaar-old Christian Bobie.
What at all is wrong? Please let us all pray for God’s
intervention on mother Ghana.
