| 10-Year-Old Boy Set Ablaze By A Fellow 14-Year-Old |
Kasoa seems to be trending negatively for the past two weeks over series of coincidental incidents befalling the town which in recent times was a peaceful one.
It all began on the sad incident of two teenagers killing a 10-year-old boy for ritual purposes, followed by two young men engaging in a serious fight on the street which nearly took the life of one and now another sad incident of a 14-year-old boy setting a fellow 10-year-old ablaze.
In an on-phone interview with Afiah Pokuaah of UTV, the mother of the victim identified as Cynthia Amankwaah explained that, her 10 year old boy went to the market to buy a pair of shoes and upon returning home, the 14 year old boy (culprit) known as 'Hammer' set him ablaze. hammer was holding a can containing petrol and poured it on her 10 year old son lighting a lighter to set him ablaze. Fortunately enough, there were a number of people around to intervene and rescued him. But the fire had already caused harm on the body her son.
Further investigation co0nducted by Phelad Media Gh confirms that the culprit 'Hammer' is under preparation to face the court as to why he took such a step on his fellow human being.
