Renowned Ghanaian comedian,Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, popularly known as Funny Face has been referred to the Accra psychiatric hospital for treatment for about two weeks by an Accra Circuit Court following his actions at the court.

The comedian, when asked by the judge whether he was alright, told the court that he has a mental problem due to the slaps given to him by the police when he was arrested some few days ago.
This comes following an event that Benson Oduro Boateng (Funny Face), had gone to a pub at Kasoa where a misunderstanding ensued between him and the owner of the bar. Although the two were separated, Funny Face went home, returned with a gun and fired warning shots in the pub.
